I'd have to say out of all the games I've ever played this was the best so far. The level of organization is really makes the difference. I can't even imaging how many hours were put into the planning of this game. Over time we'll earn our stripes and hopefully get to take on a more critical role in these games by carrying out more missions and getting more involved in the planning. We have to pay our dues first.
Congrats to T on the well deserved victory slaughter. Thanks Mills, all of your help has really made a difference. Lurch you da man. Showing up and helping your team out when you are not able to play shows a level of commitment that is almost unheard of. We all appreciate that. You win the MPP
And most of all thanks to Payroll for inviting us out to run with you guys. You have had a hand in almost every step this team has taken and can't say thanks enough.

No problem at all. That is what it is all about. Take what you learn and one day show someone else or a team so that the sport can grow and become much bigger and better. I wanted to let you guys know that your efforts did not go unnoticed. You guys were all over the field all the time, hardly ever off field and people noticed that. It put you in the runnings for the awards, but some of the machines we had on our side im sure you understand why they went to who got them. I hope to see you guys out with us at many more scenarios to come. Thanks for supporting us and giving it all that you had! |

That game was all I expected it to be and more. After Listening in on T and Mills missions an troop movement you can get an understanding why these guys win games. A BIG THANKS to Payroll for helping us EVERY step of the way! I'm sure I speak for my whole team when I say we will run with you guys anytime we get the call.
Lurch, you set the great example for other players. You got to see and participate in the game even thought you had to leave for other obligations and the cool thing is it didn't cost you anything. Way to go...you got vote for MPP

Oh Yeah, I forgot, the story of Payrolls covert opertion... He finds a blue armband on the ground puts it on and heads toward there Command Post. Outside the CP he gets stopped by two players. While they argue about his armband he slips away into the inserting troops then moves again towards the CP....walks in.. while there calling a mission and yells "ALL DEAD". Veeery cool

Sherwood also has their one pics up on sherwoodpaintball.com. There are some nice ones of Bart and a really nice one of Pat in there.
Thanks again for coming out for us at this event guys. You really did a great job at this one and I'm not just saying that, I mean it.
One thing that we always appreciate is how the teams that run under us at these game respond to new challenges. One thing that stuck out in my mind was on Saturday when we were getting pushed pretty hard in the woods and were about to loose it. I was looking for people to plug the hole and in from the insertion was the NWI crew towards the center of the field. I yelled and asked you to plug that hole quickly because it was about to fall. And if it had fallen we would have had 15+ from Damage Inc behind our base for the next 4 hours. You guys did not say a word and went right there and did the job. Awesome willingness to do whatever is asked, even in parts of the field that you least liked to play in, which was those woods from what you said before. Its that kind of willingness that makes good teams great teams because you have the right attitude.
Thanks again for that, its not as easy to find teams who do that as you may think. I'm glad I can add NWI to my short list of teams who are like that. Be proud, very proud.
Oh, and to answer how many hours went into this game...How many hours are there in a year? How many in two years?, what about 3 years? It was 3 years ago we started planning to reach out ultimate goal of playing against TB from Thunderstruck, which was supposed to be this game. Even those that didn't end up happening, the planning, focus and goal has been an on going proccess for 3 years. |

Hey all....you guys along with the rest of the Total War faction...really put it on us pretty good.....no complaints here...It was good fun, and a great learning tool....
We will be bringing a few guys to RTS, and will hopefully be at Knox sometime before the season ends.....
PapaQuack(Scott) and Old Guy spent most of Friday nite chewing the fat and getting to know each other....I know, cause I heard them
Payroll.....nice on the tape tactic.....that is what happens when people do not know who they are playing against
good luck with the Zombie game....sounds like fun.... |

| Hey guys I just wanted to come onto your forum and say I had a great time playing with you guys. Haha I think I played alongside you guys more than any of the other teams out there and as always it was a pleasure. Sorry I won't be able to make it to the zombie game but I'll see a few of you guys at CPX for Living Legends. Thanks again for all the great times on the field and off. |
