Well, maybe for Friday night but what I'm trying to say is this.
These are campfires, not big bonfires.
Typically, we have bought wood from a local place just down the street. It's $70 for a enough wood to full the back of a pick up truck up. We usually split it with 4-5 other teams and we all get enough fire wood for the weekend and only have to pay 15 bucks per team or so for it. For us out of State residents, the only other option was gas station wood which would cost...alot more than that!
Do you guys have plans for fire wood yet? Do you want to jump in this with us and a few other teams? If you don't need it thats fine.
The other thing is I need a truck to get the wood and I haven't heard back from the guy who has brought his truck in the past and offered to use it to haul the wood.
So, Question #1: do you need fire wood? Question #2: do you want to join up with us? Question #3: does anybody have a truck to offer up to go get the wood and bring it back (it will take 30 minutes total) lol
If you guys are getting your own wood and I can't get a truck then I may ask to hook up with you and we'll pitch for wood.
Let me know so we can sort this out on whats going on here. lol I'm a little bit confused myself. |

oh, we will be getting to Sherwood around 11am on Friday I believe.
And I should know soon about which direction we are going with fire wood. Its a bummer that its illegal to import it from out of state cause I have access to alot here too. Oh well. |

FYI, It looks like i'll be able to secure a truck or trailer at the field from one of the other teams to help me get the fire wood locally. This way some of the other teams who have relied on us to help them get fire wood, will have what they need too. |

Just a few more days... You all ready to bring it all weekend long?
Can we count on strong night play from NWI? If you've never played night before like this, just ask Bart and Sam how they liked it at the VIP game in Texas! Bring your powerful spot lights if you got them, it makes it fun!
WOW will be at the field Friday late morning to begin setting up the camp sites and then we can begin everything from walking the field, maps discussion and basic game plans. See you all in a few days! |

Seriously Mills, we are all looking forward to whipping some a*@ this weekend and for the night game you'll be able to count on NWI as long as we are needed. See you all Friday |

An addendum has been added to the rules. Please read carefully...not following this new rule could get you a ref punch.
Lawmasters” There will be specially-marked helipack toppers with a red or blue flag. These represent “Lawmasters” (The flying motorcycle-type vehicle of the Judges). These can only be piloted by "Robots" and "Judges", and are available in VERY limited numbers. They may fire while "in flight" but are limited to five minutes of flight time, a full hopper, and one pod of paint. They must land back at their base or they are considered crashed, and their vehicle destroyed. They may be eliminated in the same way you eliminate a helicopter. IF YOU ARE NOT ON A HELICOPTER YOU MAY NOT SHOOT AT “FLYING” PLAYERS. DOING SO WILL EARN YOU A JUDGE PUNCH AND A TRIP TO YOUR HOSPITAL TO AWAIT THE NEXT INSERTION.
Robots and Judges These players will be marked with a yellow armband, as well as their team color. As these would be easily recognized in the field due to their appearance or uniform, they MUST wear these armbands at ALL times.
Missions to “Clear a block” This mission will require you to clear all enemy players you can find from the area and controlling the area for a period of time. “Control” will be up to the discretion of the field refs as it would be impossible to be sure that there was not an opponent hiding in the bushes.
Missions to "destroy" an objective Since Joe builds lots of big stuff (yay!) there will be a special provision for "destroying" them. In order to complete a "destroy objective" mission you will be required to actually use a satchel charge. LAWs, while eliminating players behind a wall, will not actually "destroy" the objective. |

| If anyone has a Q-beam or a high intensity light charge it up and bring it along with you for the night game. |
