I was doing some research for a friend about the etek 3. he already has a halo b, so i think he should stick with empire/invert. does the etek 3 have rf capability?

| Aside from the rf question what are you asking? By rf you mean the install of the upgrade where the loader and gun sync together? |

| yeah hes talking about the radio frequiency feature on some guns where the gun and loader sync together. And I am also the one interested in the etek3, but i can barely find any information on them. I couldn't even find it on the planet eclipse website |

the radio frequency technology is cool, but unnecessary. I don't think it's worth paying for in my opinion.
If you don't know much about the Etek 3 then why do you want one? just curious |

| Cause im lookin to upgrade my gun, used slg ul, cause its been acting kinda weard, and I reset everything and its just not working the way I want it to. So my friend mark has an etek2 and he likes it alot. So i looked into the etek3 and watched a video of mike (techpb) interviewing a guy from planet eclipse and some of the things in new ego 10's are in it. I was also looking at the protege too but when i went to warped sportz just recently, i was talking to the guy there and he said that he thought that the protege was an ok gun. So he recomended the etek3 instead. And about loader, im probably not gonna get a new one anyways. |

In my opinion Planet Eclipse is awfully proud of their stuff. I'm not saying that it's not any good, just that you overpay for everything with their name on it. I wouldn't buy one but that's just my opinion. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

| well the new etek3's come in a lower and higher end version, lower being 450 and higher being 600 and the only difference between the two is the frame, eye cover, and feed neck. And i think the etek2's were like 500 or sumthing, so i think its good deal, but i dont know. I need to look into the etek3's some more |

| You have find used etek 2's going for the 3-400 range on pbnation. You can find 08 egos going for around the 4-500 mark. If it was me I would save a little money and just go that route. |

| well idk if I want to buy another used gun. my slg ul was used and it didnt come with a warenty card or anything like that. |
