Nads and Old Guy should like this...
I had both of my guns go down on me last Saturday. It was very frustrating. I had both Nads and Old Guy helping me out (thanks guys), swapping o-rings, changing batteries, rebuilding regulators and just couldn't get things going. After tons of frustration (and some teasing from Old Guy about his flawless gear ) I gave up and OG was nice enough to let me rock the Shocker for a bit (until the battery died, lol) to finish out the day.
Well after I got home I tore both guns apart, rebuild solenoids, regs, etc. changed o-rings again and still had no luck. I finally ran out of air from testing so much so I grabbed my other tank from my little bro that I had been letting him use, threw it on and what do you know?? Both guns working beatuifully!! All of that frustration for nothing! I guess the reg is going back to Crossfire for repair.
The moral of the story: Don't forget that your tank reg can fail too! Be sure to check before disassembling 5 times. I know it seems so obvious but it sure wasn't then. Maybe I can save someone else some grief down the road.

| Some times problems could be things that you over look or are just plain stupid and makes you f' in mad. |

| Help! Yesterday during the predator big game I could'nt get my etek to stop breaking paint. I took everything apart and cleaned it numerous times along with returning the gun to its factory settings (up'd Dwell & Ball Detection Time). I also replaced the batteries in the gun, to no avail. I have never had this problem before and am quite frustrated, in reading the P.E. Website they mention the detents needing to be changed when you switch ball sizes. They also mentioned that it could be the hopper batteries. I am using a invert halo 2, I have only used it 1 other time. I think that the hopper is the culpret of my problems, I noticed everytime I had a break, the hopper would be full of paint; However, I would have paintballs actually stuck in the barrel. I have tried to include a list of all the problems, so I apoligize for any confusion. Any help would be greatly appreciated |
