Is anyone interested in a game for this month? We could do RTS, open play,or even try a new field.

I think Nads idea of going to White River would be perfect.

White River is pretty cool, but RTS would be fun too. The overnight trip would be fun but will cost a little extra.

Here's the case for White River:

COSTS (per person)
Viper RTS: 45 entry + 15 air(!) + 65 case
White River: 45 entry + 64 case + 15(?) hotel

GAME TIME
Viper RTS: Noon Sat to 2PM Sun. No stop as far as I can tell.
White River: 10:30AM - 7:30PM Sat, then Night game from 9:30PM - Midnight, then 10:30AM - 2PM Sun.

PROS OF VIPER RTS: WOW will be there, I assume some other big teams, too, it's close and no need for a hotel.
CONS OF VIPER RTS: That's a lot of night play, which wasn't that fun in my opinion.

PROS OF WHITE RIVER: Overnight trip woohoo! The field is well suited to our style of play, with a little dense woods that we can pretty much ignore. Short walks to insertions.
CONS OF WHITE RIVER: Overnight trip not woohoo? You wil shoot a lot of paint, because the skirmish lines are easy to find and the field is not enormous.

Motel 6 in Anderson, which is just up the road, would cost $41.39 per night. If we fit 4 people in a room that's $15 per person per night. I think a two night stay would be advisable since it's a long-ass drive down to Anderson.

White River would be pretty cool. The fields looks pretty sweet from the pics and its a field we haven't played at. And they have an accual pro shop that can help if you have problems with your equipment.

The pro shop is nice, and they have hamburgers and hot dogs plus chips and a drink for $5. The staff was very nice and the refs were everywhere on the field. The scenario I attended earlier this year was well run.

I'll go wherever, but I have to be back in the area by 2:00 CT on that Sunday so if we go to Indy I may skip play on Sunday
